The Whippet Weekly is Varnum ' digital student-run newspaper. This is the fourth year that Varnum's Journalism students have produced The Whippet Weekly and its first year under the direction of Hanna Smith

The Whippet Weekly is committed to the vision of being by the students of Varnum for the students of Varnum. Although Ms. Smith oversees and paginates each issue, it is the weekly responsibility of the nine extraordinary young ladies on the staff to write the articles and take a majority of the pictures. Our staff is not large but we are hardworking and hope to grow The Whippet Weekly in the years to come.
