Situated in the serene landscape of Kingfisher County, a mere 60 miles west of Oklahoma City, the Vernum Public School District takes immense pride in its mission to impart knowledge and nurture the minds of approximately 220 students ranging from pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade. This district is made up of two exceptional institutions: Vernum Elementary School and Vernum High School.
With a rich history dating back to 1968, the Vernum School District is the product of a merger between the Loyal and Omega school districts. Nestled in the charming town of Loyal, OK, Vernum Elementary School provides a first-rate education for students from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. Their dedicated faculty and staff go above and beyond to create an enriching environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.
Moving further along the educational journey, Vernum High School, located in the town of Omega, OK, caters to students in grades seven through twelve. Committed to instilling lifelong learning and preparing students for a successful future, Vernum High School offers a multitude of academic programs and extracurricular activities.
